About RFL
We are living through such times of crisis where indifference cannot be an option. Many of us feel the need to do something about the conditions around us, yet we are constantly limited by two things. First, our inability to fully understand what is happening, what lies behind it, and how these conditions can be challenged. Second, the growing alienation of this system, where meaningful connection with people becomes increasingly difficult. This becomes even more frustrating when we are surrounded by a culture of convenient indifference, where urgency itself is treated as unnecessary.
In such times, correct political education and building a collective around it becomes necessary. Keeping this in mind, we at Young Political Workers are organising a weekly online reading circle that people can join from anywhere.
How it works:
1. Every week, on a pre-decided day (mostly Thursday, 9-11 pm IST), we will meet for a 2 hour session to collectively read and discuss articles, books, political texts, and current issues.
2. We expect consistency and communication from participants, so please sign up only if you can attend the sessions regularly.
3. Please note that if someone misses more than 3 consecutive sessions without prior communication, their membership will be discontinued.
4. Please note that people will be taken in periodically, since it would not be possible to introduce new participants in the middle of an ongoing text. New entries will be added as we complete each reading cycle.
