Bhagat Singh Reading List

It is Bhagat Singh’s writings that give you the correct picture of how things prevailed before Independence and debunks the Congress’s distortion of history and sole appropriation of independence struggle. But when you read about the pre-independence conditions, you realise how nothing much has changed. It is because we never gained the true independence that Bhagat envisioned. His idea of independence was necessarily through the way of socialist revolution, but what we had was mere transfer of power from Rich White to Rich Brown. Read these texts and they will help you understand why you, as Youth, hold the responsibility to educate yourself and others around you about Marxism and start organising as a community to bring the revolution! Read one text from here a day along with reading the books in order from the theory list. This reading list is still growing, there will be more essays, letters, court statements and posters in both English and Hindi language as you read!
